As we head into the weekend, it's worth remembering that our true rest doesn't come from a day off work or sleeping in or even a vacation--it's found in Christ alone. Those earthly forms of rest are nice (I especially enjoy the sleeping in 😂), but without God's promise of eternal rest with him someday, they would mean nothing.
